Hey there! I'm Alyssa (Lyss is cool too), it's nice to ~virtually~ meet you. Let's get all the basics out of the way first, shall we?

I studied Digital Media and Creative Advertising during my undergraduate career at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. I just graduated with my Masters of Science in Strategic Communication from Central Connecticut State University. I also just moved to Rochester, NY this past April! Any recommendations, I'm all ears.

I have a passion for creating, innovating, and communicating. 

​

Here's some of the things I think I'm pretty good at: 

-Content creation, such as social media posts, Wordpress websites, logos, graphic elements, the list goes on 

​

-Presentation and people skills. I gave campus tours all through college. Once you can convince a worried mother her first-born will be "just fine" as a freshman, you can convince anyone of anything.

​

-What I like to call "creative marketing," such as newsletters, blogs, digital ads, etc. 

​

-Strategic communication and planning. A good idea is only as good as its implementation. Is that a saying? If not, it should be. 

​

Fun Facts: 

-I am a member of an elite dog-spotting group on Facebook. 

-I love potatoes in every way, shape, and form. 

-I've shaken Barack Obama's hand. 

-A video of me post-wisdom teeth extraction went moderately viral

on Twitter.

-I've been to Disney World 9 times (and counting)
